1. Our jewels
Are Bax jewels made entirely in Italy? Absolutely. Every single Maison Bax creation comes to life in our Vicenza workshop, a world-class center of goldsmithing excellence. We don't just assemble: we melt the gold, set the stones by hand, and refine every detail in-house, guaranteeing true "Handmade in Italy."
What materials do you use for your creations? We use exclusively 18-karat gold (750/1000) in the yellow, white, rose and exclusive black gold versions. Our stones, diamonds (including black and brown), rubies, sapphires and emeralds, are all natural and selected by our gemologists for purity, colour and cut.
Does the jewelry come with a certificate? Of course. Every Bax piece of jewelry comes with a certificate of authenticity that certifies the gold fineness, the type and carat weight of the gemstones set, and the guarantee that it's "handmade."
What does it mean that jewelry is "hand-polished"? Unlike industrial production, our artisans polish each piece by hand using specialized brushes and pastes. This slower and more meticulous process gives the gold a deep, lasting shine that no machine can replicate.
2. Size Guide and Customizations
How do I choose the correct ring size? On each ring page you will find our Size Guide . If you're unsure, we recommend measuring the inside diameter of a ring you already wear. As we're an artisanal workshop, we can make half sizes or custom sizes upon request.
Can I request a customization? Yes. The beauty of having an in-house workshop is its flexibility. We can make the same design in different gold colors (e.g., a rose gold ring instead of yellow) or add a personalized engraving (dates, names, initials) where space allows. Contact us before purchasing to verify feasibility.
Is it possible to create a custom piece of jewelry based on my design? Maison Bax offers a service of Bespoke (custom) exclusive. Contact our customer service to discuss your idea: our designers and goldsmiths will evaluate how to turn your dream into reality.
4. Returns and Jewelry Care
Can I return a piece if I don't like it? We want you to love your Bax jewelry. If for any reason you're not satisfied, we offer a free return within 30 days of receipt, as long as the piece is intact, unworn, and complete with original seals and certificates. (Note: Personalized or engraved jewelry may not be refundable.)
Is the package recognizable? (I want to surprise someone) We ship in plain outer packaging to ensure discretion and security. Inside, the jewel will be kept in our elegant Maison Bax packaging, ready for gift giving.
How can I clean my Bax jewelry? To maintain the luster of the gold and the sparkle of the stones, we recommend soaking the jewelry in warm water with a drop of neutral soap and gently brushing it with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, creams, and harsh chemicals.
